​My name is Latisha Michel, also known as Tisha. I am a dedicated wife and mother of 6.

 

I am a RI Certified Perinatal Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, Childbirth Educator,  Maternal and Child Health Specialist, and the Founder of Ready Set Latch Go.

My passion for becoming a Doula stems from my experiences and vast history of supporting my family and friends over the past 24 years.

​

Because of my own experiences, my goal is to ensure that the birthing person feels empowered, supported, and heard on their birthing journey.

​

I believe that women's bodies are designed to and capable of birthing the babies they carry. Each woman has a different preference regarding whether she wants a medicated or unmedicated birth. My goal is to help you discover your desires and to help you make a plan in which you are most likely to achieve what is best for you and your baby.

 I have adopted the motto, "Birth isn't something we suffer, but we actively do and exult in."
